Load Phantom 4 Pro 4K Footage to iMovie on Mac OS X
The DJI Phantom 4 Pro is the best consumer drone ever!!! Image is stellar. Video quality rocks. I bought this instead of the Phantom 4 advanced! But the problem is that my Phantom 4 Pro 4K videos wouldn’t play in iMovie on macOS Sierra. After searching online and my multiple testing, the quick solution turns up. Now I will share the method to import and edit Phantom 4 Pro 4K in iMovie flawlessly.

I finally decided to convert all my Phantom 4 Pro files with Brorsoft Video Converter for Mac, a professional Video Converter for Phantom 4 Pro files. It helps me transcode Phantom 4 Pro 4K MP4/MOV videos to Apple InterMediate Codec .mov for iMovie with fast encoding speed and without quality loss. And fortunately, the generated AIC MOV is perfectly accepted by iMovie. No more issues.

Step 1: Install and launch the ideal Phantom 4 Pro H.265 converter on your Mac, and then click "Add Files" button to import your Phantom 4 Pro .mp4 or .mov to the software.

Step 2: Hit the "Format" bar and select iMovie and Final Cut Express > Apple InterMediate Codec(*.mov) as output format on the drop-down menu. You can also click "Settings" icon to adjust video, audio parameters.

Tip: Edit Phantom 4 Pro videos(optional) For more than a video converter, this software provides some video editing functions: trim video into smaller segments; remove unwanted objects from video; brand your video by embedding a watermark; importing subtitle files in .srt or .sst format to video files.

Step 3: After all the settings are OK, click the "Convert" button to start converting Phantom 4 Pro 4K videos to AIC .mov for iMovie on Mac.

After the conversion, just click Open button to locate the output files. You can now use your converted DJI Phantom 4 Pro videos in iMovie efficiently.
